Inspired by the bittersweet moments of a final road trip with a lover through Oregon state, 'Still Thinking of Us' is a conversation to oneself about the letting go of a relationship and the acceptance of it being for the best. The song holds sentimental gestures as almost a eulogy to the places visited and feelings had to be encapsulated in time. Partially recorded onto an old analog reel-to-reel tape machine, there’s an intimacy in the fluttering of the guitars and keys of the piano that remind us of a fragile heart in the throws of love.
